Remember that soothing gripe water that Granny used to give to the little ones when they had a sore tummy? Well now you can make your own grip water. This recipe is safe for the tinniest of babies, easy to make and it even works for children and adults too!
- ½ tsp Anise seeds (crushed)
- ½ tsp Fennel (dried)
- ½ tsp Dill (dried)
- 1/8 tsp Ginger (fresh and grated)
- ½ tsp Chamomile (dried)
Place all the ingredients in a glass or ceramic bowl and cover with 200mls boiling water. Cover the bowl and leave for 8 mins.
Strain the mix through clean muslin and leave in the fridge to cool.
Store in the fridge but discard after 3 days.
Give ½ to 1 tsp to baby before a feed.
